Maternal health outcomes continue to trail overall advances in modern medicine, even in the United States, one of the most develqwerqewrhealthcare system. With its world-renowned life sciences programs and concentration of medical research institutes, Philadelphia has a unique role to play in reducing pregnancy and post-partum complications and addressing these maternal health equity challenges. This panel will examine Philadelphia’s role and the city’s opportunities in medical and patient-care advances from a local, national, and global perspective. Local and global panelists will provide their outlook on innovations in maternal health.
